‘Pournaras S.A.’ was founded in 1970 by textile engineers, Costa and Antonio Pournaras. For 35 years they specialized in the production of fancy yarns in 6 factories stretched from Athens to Thessaloniki. The ‘Pournaras’ name is well known both inside and outside Greece exporting to Italy, Germany, Spain, Cyprus and Switzerland.

Having a successful background in the industrial sector, Antonis Pournaras in 2008 makes a fresh start together with his two sons, Vassili and Spiro and establishes a new company, under the name ‘POURNARAS LTD’.  Together with the most known Greek fashion designer Michalis Aslanis, they make a new start in the fashion sector.  They create the ‘Prêt à porter aslanis by Pournaras’ brand, thus contributing to the Greek woman’s fashion wear.

‘Pournaras Ltd.’, is constantly creating, evolving and widening its activities according to the demands of the times and the international fashion trends.  The high quality of the materials used and the efficiency of the contributors are some of the prime key elements which established the excellent reputation of the company all these years.

The unique collections are sold in selected retail stores in Greece and Cyprus.

The showroom is located in a brand-new 450 m2 four story building, at 20, Pefkon and 11, Bizaniou Streets in the Metamorphosis area of Athens.
