Hotel Aktaion is located in the town of Edipsos, within a few minute walk from the port. The history of this hotel begins in the early 19^th century, when Karaminas brothers, the renowned artisans of stone, had built it by carving the local stone with their own hands.

Since then hotel Aktaion had been operating and hosting important personalities of the time. In 2010-2011 it was fully renovated with respect to the traditional architecture. Now hotel Aktaion offers to its guests the most modern facilities in an environment of affordable luxury and noble glow.

Hotel Aktaion was declared a historical monument by the Greek Ministry of Culture. It is family-run by the heirs of the Karaminas family.
