At Agios Lavrentiοs, Magnesia (close to Milies), a 19th century oil mill was turned with a lot of loving attention into a luxurious guesthouse, keeping all the traditional elements of the original stone building. Agios Lavrentios is at 21Km from Volos at an altitude of 650m, a few kilometers lower from the Ski centre.

The village of Agios Lavrentios is one of the few in Pelion where the traditional architecture of the area has been preserved so strongly while at the same time it has an excellent network of cobblestone roads.
