Since 1979 V. Stefanouris Distillery produces high quality drinks, such as ouzo, brandy, liqueurs, mastiha, ice cream syrups and pure fresh fruit juices. The quality of our products and our responsibility to the customers, have led our company into the orbit of continuous progress. Thus, our distillery is well established as one of the largest and most reliable companies of its kind.

In 1996 the company was transformed into S.A. by becoming V. Stefanouris S.A., which is its official name until today. In 1998 the construction of our new privately owned distillery was completed, and now, V. Stefanouris S.A. is based in the Kalamata Industrial Area.

The excellent products, their continuous renewal and the everyday searching for new tastes are some of the basic characteristics of our company's successful work.

Our products:

Ouzo: the genuine Greek product

Its origin is lost in the depths of the East, but the rich scent of anise evokes sea, rejoicing and holidays. Ouzo is usually drunk undiluted, but many people prefer to add a little water or ice, especially in summer, because thus it becomes cooler, reducing the sweetness of sugar and the alcohol that affects the taste. Whether pure or with water or accompanied by seafood, this is surely the drink that characterizes the Greek summer, giving pleasant moments to the anise lovers.

V. Stefanouris S.A. has created its own ouzo, based on a secret recipe, with a special taste and aroma, produced from mixture of water, alcohol and anise and enriched with aromatic herbs.

Drink of exceptional quality. Offers exceptional taste and aroma and is available in a wide variety of packaging.

The Golden Liqueur Series

We are proud to present you this wide variety of liqueurs in special shaped bottles. Our production line includes Cacao, Cherry, Rose, Banana, Tangerine and Triple Sec. Fine liqueurs by V. Stefanouris are suitable for any occasion and any cocktail.

Fruit Juices

Kalamata is famous for the great variety of fruit trees grown on fertile land. The rich and natural juices of orange, lemon and cherry fruits are properly condensed for the preparation of tasty soft drinks and cocktails.

The range of Fruit Juices also includes cherry juice in viscous form, suitable for ice cream topping.

COLLECTION OF DISTILLATES

Tsipouro

Greek distilled spirit with strong and tingling flavor. It is served in small glasses and accompanied by different snacks. As ideal ones are considered those with earthly tastes, like “pastirma”, salted fishes and olives (not seafood used for ouzo).

Raki

A drink for all social strata. It has passed from the bourgeoisie and the mansions to cafes and houses, and is served every hour and for any reason.

Mastiha Liqueur

A unique Greek liqueur with superb flavor and aroma of mastiha, balanced in such way that makes it really outstanding. Served chilled. Used for preparation of sweets thanks to its aroma.
