Zakynthos "the flower of the East", Ionian Islands

Zakynthos is the southernmost island of the Ionian Islands and is situated on the south of Cephalonia and west of the Peloponnese.

The island is known also of the sea turtle Caretta and the Mediterranean monk seal Monachus.
